Isabella Martin

Isabella Martin is a poet, fiction writer, and printmaker from rural southern Virginia, currently based in Durham, North Carolina. Her work explores friendship and kinship in the landscapes of working-class communities in the rural south. At Newnan ArtRez, she will be crafting new work that explores the intersections of poetry and printmaking. This work, and the processes that produce it, will seek to blend word and image; poetry and prose; and physical printmaking processes and digital design tools. Through this hybridity, she hopes to open up possibilities inaccessible through any one medium or style.
