Deedra Ludwig

Deedra Ludwig believes that art has the power to make the eye see things in a new light, allowing viewers to develop a love for places and natural objects that they otherwise might not have noticed. Rather than re-creating a literal landscape on canvas, she aims to express its essence. Her process is a synthesis of decades of experimentation with color, mark making and composition all linked to her reverence of the primordial world. She Among the collections in which her work can be found are the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta, Hartsfield Jackson International Airport, the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Miami Dade International Airport, and Ritz Carlton Hotels International. She is represented at LeMieux Galleries in New Orleans and TEW Galleries in Atlanta.
