Andrea Wolper

Singer, songwriter, and poet Andrea Wolper “brings songs to life … working in a milieu that begins with jazz and reaches out to embrace an expressive area that is uniquely her own” (Int’l Review of Music). A distinct and powerful voice, Wolper appears in top rooms in New York and at venues throughout the United States and abroad. Her writing combines music with poetry and found text, incorporating an eclectic array of sources, and her composition techniques utilize traditional methods while introducing new forms, such as laptop recording and graphic notation. During her stay at the Newnan ArtRez, she plans to continue adding to her original body of work.
