Robyn Carter

As a Bay Area fiction writer and educator, Robyn Carter has spent the past eighteen years teaching creative writing to kids, college students, and adults. She has taught youth most recently as a San Francisco WritersCorps Teaching Artist in Residence, where she leads comic and graphic novel writing workshops to elementary school students. Her work with adult learners has been as an instructor in a degree program designed for veterans, many of whom struggle with PTSD and/or traumatic brain injuries. She currently serves as a writing mentor in the PEN Prison Writing Program.
